2. Daniel Boone National Forest

3. Woodlands Trace
Woodlands Trace is a National Scenic Byway through Kentucky and Tennessee. This path allows you to drive through rolling hills and has several places you can stop to take in the beauty.
4. Bluegrass Country Driving Tour
The Bluegrass Country Driving Tour is located in Central Kentucky and takes you through the scenic horse farms and the beautiful countryside roads of Lexington, KY.
5. Bernheim Forest
Bernheim Forest is a little less than an hour away from Louisville and is perfect for easy hikes through beautiful forests. They have plenty of family-friendly events throughout the fall. 8. Clifty Falls State Park
Clifty Falls State Park is a little under an hour’s drive from Downtown Louisville and is located in Madison, Indiana. Plan a day trip to hike, picnic, and visit the nature center. The trails range from easy to rugged and they offer guided waterfall hikes and other family-friendly events.
9. Pumpkin Picking at Joe Huber’s Farm
One of the iconic ways to enjoy fall is taking in the fall colors and picking pumpkins.
